For future-oriented production methods, it is essential to integrate economic and environmental aspects to achieve both sustainability and resource efficiency. Our focus is on developing products and processes that enhance durability and functionality, supporting a lifecycle designed for sustainable impact.

Our goal is to equip the entire process chain for producing and using tools and components with technology that enables a sustainable, resource-efficient, reliable, waste-free, and defect-free circular economy.

Guided by our principle "Reuse Instead of Discard," we are committed to significantly extend the total service life of tools and components through a process of coating, recoating, and reuse.

Currently, to extend the service life of tools and components, various surface coating methods (such as PVD and CVD) are applied. However, over time, these coatings—and often the base material itself—experience partial wear and damage. Reconditioning is generally limited, often resulting in compromises in performance and geometry.

To maximize the total service life of coated parts, our focus is preventing wear of the base material. This enables worn coatings to be removed without compromising the quality, yet allowing for a new coating to be applied.

This approach not only generates financial savings but also provides ecological benefits by reducing resource consumption, energy use, and CO₂ emissions—significantly enhancing production sustainability.
